    From what I have seen and others have reported, a code can only be used once. This is the case over 99% of the time.

    There have been some codes in the past (but not recently) that were good for multiple rentals, but usually not during the same month.

    There have also been codes (like MARCH), that have worked in more than once, but only in different years.

    The best thing to do is experiment and see what happens! :)

    I think these codes are great , but they charge me sometimes! It shows no charge on the redbox, but then a 1.00 shows on bill~ why? Is there something i'm doing wrong? Can you not use the same credit card? help!.....

    I have a few questions that have been running thru my mind in regards to redbox, they are as follows:

    1. Can I rent or reserve movies online using a promo code??
    2. Why is it when I go to redbox to rent, and using a promo code, when I pick out a movie being a new release i.e. "I am Legend", it won't let me add it to my cart to check out? Are there only certain codes good for week old releases? Or is there another reason that I can't get the new release? I had no problem renting "No Country for Old Men" the other night using a promo code, however I couldn't rent "I am Legend" using the same promo code.
    3. I have been trying to rent "30 Days of Night" for weeks now. I can go on redbox's website and reserve it at a Giant grocery store that is literally a mile from my doorstep. However, when I go in to the store WITHOUT reserving it online, the option to rent or even see the title isn't up on the screen. Why is this? Do they keep a few titles "hidden" for people that rent online and pick up? Or is there another reason for this?
    4. Can more than one promo code be used in one day by the same person/credit card? Could I rent using a code, check out, then rent another using a promo code, then check out, etc.??? How does that work?

    Generally, you can only use a code once per credit card. But, read on...

    Others have reported this in the past. I think there are two possibilities:

    1) You didn't actually get charged $1.00, Redbox just put an "authorization" for the $1 on your card. They do this to make sure your card is valid.

    Sometimes this shows up on your online statement, depending on your bank.

    2) You previously used the code on the same credit card, but the machine didn't know that until after you completed the transaction.

    This happens because you enter the code (and it is accepted) before you swipe your card. Usually, the machine will tell you that you have already used that code, but it may not ALWAYS tell you.

    Do you have Redbox send you an email receipt? If not, you should. If you do, you can always check the receipt for what it says.

    Also, be sure you didn't return the movie late (after 9pm), or you will be charged for the extra day.

    Hope this helps. While I cannot be 100% sure what is happening, I think this covers most of the possibilities.

    I will attempt to answers these the best I can. Remember, I can only speculate on certain things, and you should contact Redbox if you need a definitive answer.

    1. Can I rent or reserve movies online using a promo code??
    No. (That was an easy one!)

    BTW, Redbox has FAQs on their website, and this is posted there. You can see their General FAQ or their Online Rental FAQ.

    2. Why is it when I go to redbox to rent, and using a promo code, when I pick out a movie being a new release i.e. “I am Legend”, it won’t let me add it to my cart to check out? Are there only certain codes good for week old releases? Or is there another reason that I can’t get the new release? I had no problem renting “No Country for Old Men” the other night using a promo code, however I couldn’t rent “I am Legend” using the same promo code.
    You were trying to rent a movie that wasn't released yet.

    You will often see entries for the New Releases coming out the next Tuesday in the Redbox, but will not be able to rent them. You will notice that it says: "Release Date: [sometime in the future]" on these entries when you view them.

    I think Redbox should handle this differently, as it is often a point of confusion for many users. Perhaps some "Coming Soon" text that is clear even before a user sees the movie details.

    3. I have been trying to rent “30 Days of Night” for weeks now. I can go on redbox’s website and reserve it at a Giant grocery store that is literally a mile from my doorstep. However, when I go in to the store WITHOUT reserving it online, the option to rent or even see the title isn’t up on the screen. Why is this? Do they keep a few titles “hidden” for people that rent online and pick up? Or is there another reason for this?
    From what I understand, they keep an extra copy for walk-up traffic to the box, that online users cannot rent. They do this make sure their walk-up traffic has a good selection of movies, which is better for business.

    It is quite possible that from the time you saw it online to the time you got to the box, someone else had reserved it online or rented it directly from the box.

    4. Can more than one promo code be used in one day by the same person/credit card? Could I rent using a code, check out, then rent another using a promo code, then check out, etc.??? How does that work?
    Yes.

    Now, let me qualify that a bit. The way Redbox handles their codes is really not 100% known by us, the users. It appears that sometimes a redbox will start "throttling" code use if that particular box is getting a lot of codes used and/or tried.

    So, while in general the answer is definitely "Yes", sometimes it will not work in practice.


    Thanks for the questions, and I hope these answers have been informative. I will be creating a FAQ for our community soon that will attempt to "demystify" some of these things, and your questions (and the answers provided) really help me to see what should be on it.

    This is a great question!

    Green: This means the code has a trend of working recently.

    As members of the community report a code working (or not), we keep of history of this, and if a code is reported working 4 out of 5 times in a row, it will get the green highlight.

    Yellow: This means this is a new code, and has only been reported working by one user.

    As soon as someone else reports the code working (or not working), it will lose the yellow highlight.


    I know I should explain this on the Redbox Codes page, and I will do so when I relaunch the site with the new design.

    I see that when logging into the site you say that there are redbox codes that allow 5 dvd rentals at one time. How will we know what those codes are, how often are they released during the year, and how do they work at the redbox kiosks? Thanks again for your reply.

    I have recently opened up comments in the Redbox Codes section to allow everyone to share any special information they have regarding codes. So, if there are special "super-codes", we will be able to let each other know about and how to use them.

    The only code that I have ever seen that allowed the 5 rentals was the code SANTA, which worked during the holidays in 2005 and 2006.

    I will be updating the Redbox Codes section in the near future to be more clear on this type of information.

    I'd like to see a statistical breakdown for each code when you click on it. For example:

    This is just a basic example off the top of my head. Of course, bar graphs and pie graphs are optional, but strongly suggested. Sure, it's a lot of coding, but it's all very doable database stuff. You'll probably deem this idea as unnecessary, pointless and overdetailed, but you asked for suggestions so there it is! And while I'm at it, I'd like to also suggest another unnecessary, pointless, overdetailed feature - A Google maps mashup to include user submitted photos of Redboxes!

    Great suggestion on the more detailed Code detail page. I am actually making some changes to the code system over the next few weeks, and I will be implementing some of your ideas.

    Regarding the Google maps mashup, it seems like this could be done using Maps and Flickr, but would require a lot more photos from users. If you are interesting in implementing this, I would be happy to include it.

    If I try to enter the same code that is working for different locations, it will not post it again for my state. is this to prevent the junk codes that people were leaving.
    I used BEEMOVIE at two locations this morning, but only one entry is posted for that code.

    You can overcome this feature (which yes, is to prevent spam) by creating an account and logging in.

    This will allow you to post multiple uses of a code, as well as keep track of your code usage for you.

    I have Registered for the Inside Redbox site but have never received a password. It tells me one will be sent to my email but I one never arrives (and YES I did check the spam/filtered site on my ISP). I tried to re-register but it tells me my user name and email are already registered so I know something worked...I just can't get a password to use the feature of keeping track of my codes. HELP!

    Problem: I never received my password after registering for the site.

    This has been a common problem in the past for some users, and because of your post, I finally got to the bottom of it.

    The problem has been that AT&T;/BellSouth has been blocking email from this site. I have contacted them and they have told me that they have removed the block.

    So, if you do not receive your password after registering (or using the "Forgot my password" link) then, try this:

    1) Try again. Please try at least twice before reporting the problem.

    2) Check your spam folder. Sometimes stuff gets sent there, as much as we try to keep that from happening.

    3) If none of the above works, leave a comment here and make sure you use the same email address in the comment form that you are experiencing problems with. I will look at it and get back to you.

    I left a comment on the entry about you doing an interview of the CEO of RedBox. So make sure you check it out since that is an OLD entry.

    Are you ever going to get around to doing that interview? Because I was excited when I found out that post was months ago, and then bummed to find out I couldn't find the interview.

    I have been using Redbox since January. This week I was charged for two movies that I had previously returned.The kiosk notified me that "Your DVD has been Successfully returned". I have called the 1-866-redbox3 and sent an Email but just to let people know, Redbox can charge you on DVD that HAVE BEEN RETURNED but the Kiosks either malfunctioned or mishandling by personnel. I am awaiting a "Inventory" but for now I'm out $55! in my checking until they resolve this, thats "IF" they resolve it properly. If they don't find it, I'm going to report this to the Attorney General, which I'm looking into now. I refuse to use Redbox and others should BEWARE!.

    Sounds a bit shady to me. The guy is probably getting the codes from this site and giving them to whoever pays him $40.

    I would stay away, but if you feel like wasting $40, feel free to share what you get here.

    Often, I'll try submitting the results of several codes that I have tried off this site. Since I try them all at the same location, it would be great if the "Add/Update Redbox Code" would allow several codes to be input at once. Typically I'll have several that didn't work and then one that did work. Maybe two columns? List all the non-working codes in one column, list the working codes in the other (comma or space delimited?), then choose the date, location, etc. for one quick submittal. Hopefully the easier it is to submit codes, the more likely people will be to contribute vs. just read the codes.

    Also, looks like the retrieve lost password isn't working. It generates the following error:
    The e-mail could not be sent.
    Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function...

    I was wondering if anyone has noticed Redbox editing out certain parts of movies? I saw Hitman in theaters, then again from Blockbuster, and then happened to walk in when friends were watching it from Redbox and noticed that several parts were edited out (like when he fired into the elevator). I thought maybe the really gruesome parts were edited, since really anyone can rent it and it is an R. However, tonight we rented Enchanted and again I noticed certain parts were missing...

    This concerns your Monday free rental codes. First of all, I know that beggers can't be choosers. I check for the codes before I go to work at 9AM. The new code is usually not available yet. When I get home from work I am usually not in the mood to get on my computer, check my email for your new code and then go back out to a Redbox location to rent a movie. Is there anyway you could send the codes early enough so I could get it before I go to work and then ON THE WAY HOME I could stop off and rent a movie. Or send the code on the weekend. But if not, then thanks anyway for all your effort.

    I just got my credit card bill and got charged for every movie I got for free. The entry above suggests this is taken off later but I didnt see that. Yes I used the same credit card. But is that the extent of this web site? only one free movie? How many credit cards do you guys have? If I were to contact Redbox, how would i dispute this?

    Hello Michael, I'm not able to enter codes that I've tried, therefore I have no record of the ones I've used. I type the info in, my code window pops up, but no codes listed. When I started Redbox I got 4 free movies, but have had no luck trying any of the codes since. Well, I haven't tried the Monday-only code, I'll try that next Monday. Please let me know how to keep track of my codes online. Thanks...Kathy

    Had three codes for today's date ( April 4 ). I entered the first one and it said "not valid yet" altho this was indicated online to be valid only for todays date. Entered second code; DITTO, same response. Entered third code; DITTO, same response.
    Two weeks ago I received and code "MLKING" but it expired because as a newbie I was unaware of freebies expiring, there was nothing in email to indicate this.

    Can you do something about the $7 Redbox Keepers program? I'm interested in buying the $7 DVDs, but curious how this works. Are you just getting the regular previous daily rental from the machine, with bar code and the fancy case OR is it setup to give you the movie in the regular/original DVD case?

    Thanks so much for your efforts!
    I always try to remember to submit my experience with codes the next day.
    Couple of suggestions:
    1. It would be great to have a mobile version of the codes page, so some of us can use our Blackberrys to check any new codes that have been posted.
    2. If we were able to submit our code tests (success/failure) using emails (following a certain format, ofcourse), or even thru a form that has a small enough footprint to be able to work on a mobile browser, it would help a lot.

    I love Redbox, I think it is a wonderful, more inviting way to rent movies. I do have one question though. I have signed in to your website, and I'm greatfully receiving the codes. My only dilemma is I am only receiving those codes on the "day of", the exparation date. I am also not getting them (the e-mail codes) until around 6pm. I am unable to use the wonderful advantages you offer, because I am not getting a resonable time frame to do so.
    Again, I love Redbox, and would love to continue to do business with you. I reccommend you guys to ALL of my friends and family! Please e-mail me to let me know how we can approach this matter.

    Are you able to return a redbox movie to any location with a kiosk? I'm renting a movie from wegmans in depew on transit rd casue thats where I'm able to get it but I live closer to the wegmans on Dick rd and I was wondering if I can return my movies there instead of all the way on transit?

    To make your website better, include an expiration field with the codes. A lot of the codes I receive have expiration dates associated with them. Example, TAXES expired on 4-21-08

    I have twice now been charged twice the rate. The first time a dollar showed up about a week after renting several movies. Then I rented one the other day. I took it back a day late and was charged 2.oo plus instead of the 1.00 late charge. Is anyone else having this problem. I really love to rent with Red box but do not like to have to take time to get this straight. Thank You for your time. J

    I live in Phoenix, Arizona and use Redbox outside Circle K's and Walgreens. You are loosing alot of business with the bumbs and beggers hanging around your redboxes. I have seen many, many women start to walk up to rent a dvd and when they see the bumbs approaching them they walk off don't finish there rental. I rent alot from you and am approached 90% of the time from locations all over the valley. Beggers are attracted to your redboxes.

    @Steve: I don't know the answer to this, but I will see if I can get in touch with Redbox and ask. Has no one here bought one of the $7 DVDs?

    Also, I would imagine that they do not come in the original case, as the Redbox machine can only vend the special cases it stores.

    Hi Michael, thanks for the codes, they're great!

    I'm having a problem with my account on your site here. I've been getting the Monday updates in my email with no problem, however when I try to log in to the Inside Redbox site, it won't accept my password. Let me say that it might help if I actually remembered my password, but on further review of the email I got when I registered initially, the message that was supposed to contain my password was blank so I never actually got a password to being with and consequently, couldn't actually forget.

    Anyway, I clicked the lost password link on the log in page and entered my email address. The confirmation email that someone was trying to reset my password came through just fine and I clicked the confirmation link. I was sent another message that was supposed to contain my password, but again, it too was blank.

    I did this a couple times and each time the email that was supposed to contain my new password came back with nothing in it. At one point when I clicked the confirmation link I got an error message that said "Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid."

    I'd really like to be able to keep track of the codes I use. This feature seems really useful, if I could get into it. Any suggestions?

    I often check for new codes on my iPhone as I'm standing in front of a RedBox and it's often using EDGE data which means it can be rather slow and hard to read. If you could add some adjustments such as the ones listed on this macosxints.com page

    or use the iWPhone iPhone WordPress theme, which unfortunately doesn't support pages at this time, but would work for blog posts thus allowing any browser identified with the iPhone agent to have a special optimized site, not affecting your normal users, to have an iPhone friendly and quicker viewable site.     @David C. and seandavidson: I have actually tested out the wp-pda plugin, and it does not allow the display of codes, because it seems to ignore my embedded php that I have in the page.

    The only good solution is a custom codes page that works well with mobile phones. I also have an iphone, and do notice it can be a bit slow on EDGE, but not so bad that it bothers me too much.

    The mobile page is near the top of my list for improvements, though, and I appreciated all of your suggestions. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.

    Update...Since nobody knew the answer apparently, I bit the $7 bullet which was chocked with a complete absence of DVD artwork for the movie I purchased. What a bummer. $1 rentals=great deal. $7 purchases with no artwork? Not so much....

    For some reason I can't get the movie trailers to work. When I push the view trailer it just goes to the movie display with the trailer listings above it. I then went to that one and pushed the trailer I wanted and it just went back to the same thing. I have never been able to get the trailers to come on. What is the problem? Thanks rfjinx@aol.com

    @JRStewart: I think you should be able to reply to the text message with the word "STOP" and that will keep Redbox from sending them to you.

    Alternatively, you can always call Redbox at 1-866-REDBOX3 and they could probably take care of it for you.

    pls read if you don't want a $25.00 charge on your credit card.

    I have seen many people return their dvd and walk away. The redbox will flash a message that the dvd is returned successfully and the customer walk away. On some occasion the Redbox machine will spit the DVD back because the DVD was put in the case with the barcode on the bottom. If the next customer is honest, the next customer will fix the problem and try again or they make just walk with the DVD and the other customer is stuck with the $25.00 charge for not returning the DVD.. Lesson learn. After putting the DVD in the return slot, wait until the screen return to the original beginning screen to make sure the DVD is returned successful.

    I originally signed up for the Monday (and now Wednesday) text message for codes (from 414141)
    However, I have found that these sometime arrive when I am in a meeting and forget to turn my ringer off because I do receive other calls that need attention.
    Is there any way that I can get off of the text messageing list and just receive the e-mails?

    I have not been getting Monday codes lately. The previous texts said that there were going to be Wednesday codes as well and I haven't gotten any since I've gotten that email. I forward the codes so I thought that was why I didn't get them anymore.

    In the login window I entered my user name and then selected "Get new password" and followed the prompts.

    A message was sent to my email address with a hyper link to reset my password. When I select the hyper link the page says

    There is a quirk in the Red Box system.
    If I reserve a movie on line and try to pick it up using the free promo code I can not. Apparently being that the movie is reseved for me it is not listed on the Red Box display. Can you help? Or maybe enlighten me. Thanks

    I rented 3:10 to Yuma yesterday with promo code (I had seen the latest version b ut a friend hadn't) and was chagrined to find when I put it on it was the 100 year old b&W version!! WHY was that even in REDBOX? Wand why would anyone renting it think to check when typically all that is in REDBox are new releases? This was very disappointing to say the least.

    In the codes table, it'll be nice to see the numerical total that causes the %age number; for example 100% (2/2) or 93% (14/15) ; readers can quickly gather if the code has been tested by a few people ... or is it a brand new one. It'll save a click to drill down on the code a bit.

    Under location you may want to add "Neighborhood Market" (Wal-Mart's grocery store). I input a code used and didn't see it s I just choose "Other". We have Wal-Marts and Neighborhood Markets in our town and they both have Redbox machines.

    hello there i'm really kinda of disapointed with this redbox. they just put one in at my work place. i have a prepaid credit card, and i called and talked to someone on the telephone 2 times in 2 days and both people we're really rude. they said you can't use them. aand i tnink thats not right. some people can't afford to have a regular credit card. so i guess the ones that can't afoord it are left out. i just don't think it's fair

    I don't know if this will work for you, but I use my debit card (bank card with MasterCard logo: Washington Mutual) and it works with no problem. I do not have a real "credit card" either (cannot afford / bad credit). Also, I have a PayPal seller account so I can buy and sell on eBay and after awhile they will send you a debit/Visa to use money right from your Paypal account. You don't have to be rich to use Redbox... I have 4 bucks in my Paypal and not much more in my bank account.. I'm a poor broke college student and a no-benefits veteran, so don't tell me about "not fair". Redbox works great for me!

    Of all the arrogance. I own and operate 5 DVD rental machines in Hays, Kansas. They were here months before Redbox came to McDonalds. Now, Redbox customers are returning DVDS to my machines and causing damage. I suspect this is largely due to the 'can return our movies to any redbox' feature. I need Redbox to place signage on their machine, further educating their customers. Redbox assumes there are no other machines in their world, which is inaccurate. We were told that it isn't a problem nationwide....well, it's a problem in Hays, Kansas and as other makers, such as the ones I have, begin showing up across the country, it will be a growing problem.

    You can enter the code before picking a movie or right before checkout.
    after you hit rent a movie, at the bottom left is a button marked rent with promo code, hit that and enter the code, if it is valid, it will bring up the movies, or before pressing checkout, hit the button to the left marked promo code, if it takes the code it will show $1.00 discount and the code entered, hope this helps.

    When we click on a code it would be cool to be able to say if it is working or not. This would prevent us for entering the code incorrectly. But keep the present option open to enter new codes.

    The codes (on this website) can be found by clicking on the "Redbox Codes" link. Write down a few codes and take a drive/walk/ride to your nearest redbox kiosk. When at the kiosk tap the screen to take it out of "sleep" mode. In the left hand bottom of the screen will be a button that says "rent with promo code", click this button. An onscreen keyboard will appear. Use the keyboard to type in one of the codes that you got from this lovely website and press "enter" (or whatever button takes you to the next screen, most likely in the bottom right hand corner). If the code works the dvd's that are contained in that redbox kiosk will appear, if the code does not work the box will tell you and you must repeats these steps. If none of the codes work, don't give up, just pay the $1 for the movie and try next time with some new codes.

    If you have never rented from redbox use the code "redbox" you can only use it the first time you use a credit card at a redbox location.

    i just bought a vanilla visa prepaid card so i debit so i could rent from redbox and the redbox wont take it neither does moviecube. a friend of mine uses a prepaid card to rent dvds all the time. anybody know what gives?

    My guess is that redbox doesn't like the prepaid card because there is nothing they can do if you overdraw. With a normal debit card they would just take the money from the bank and then the bank would charge you a fee, but with the prepaid redbox would be SOL if you didn't have a balance. They are just covering their asses.

    Although I would try placing a higher balance on the debit card. Redbox charges a max of $25 for a movie, maybe if you have a min of $25 for each movie you rent at a time it will work. If not just get a regular debit card and keep just enough money in it to keep it open and only use it for redbox.

    You think that you won't get caught? Well you will I have forwarded your whole website to the CEO of Redbox. What you are doing is going to make it harder for all of us to enjoy movies for $1. Eventually by either cheating the system..(which is impossible by the way) or by giving people the wrong codes will drive the company to protect itself which in turn my cost more for you.

    redbox is a great service and should stay that way. You giving out company confidential information is very dangerous. YOU DONT WORK FOR REDBOX, YOU ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH REDBOX, SO WHY MISLEAD PEOPLE.

    Do I think I won't get caught? This site has been around for nearly 3 years and Redbox CEO (Gregg Kaplan - you don't even know his name?) is aware of it, as well as many other members of the Redbox executive team. This site it no way suggests "cheating the system" or any such nonsense.

    I agree 100% that Redbox is a great service. I personally use it often and recommend it to others. Obviously this site is not affiliated with Redbox, and it is spelled out many times all over the site. There is certainly no "misleading" going on here.

    Most likely, you don't really work for Redbox, and are just a troublemaker. You are not the first, and won't be the last. In meantime, I and the many thousands of users of this site will continue to enjoy Redbox and the great service they provide.

    is there any way we can get the guys at redbox to, if there’s an option, get the “unrated” or “extended” versions of some of the movies they put in the redbox?

    I know i personally like to see the unrated versions of movies that offer that option on dvd. for some odd reason, redbox only gets the standard theater versions, i.e. “drillbit taylor”. movie stores have the “unrated extended survival edition”. who do we talk to? whats up with this?

    My understanding is that Redbox stopped carrying the unrated versions of movies to be more socially responsible, since the Redbox is accessible by a young audience (even though they would be illegally renting if under 18).

    So, while I cannot be 100% sure on this, that is why I heard they stopped carrying the unrated versions.

    not all prepaid cards will work, for example the walmart prepaid $50 visa gift card won't work even if registered, but the walmart visa moneycard that gets your name on the card and fully registered with your address works, i've been told on here gift2go cards work, also you can go to your bank and get a prepaid card registered to you that you can use to rent.

    Yes, as long as the codes you use are valid and you have not used them on that card there is no limit to the number of codes you can use in a week, personally my best week was a monday I came here and found 4 valid codes I had not used and also had my text message monday code. So I took all 5 codes to the machine and doing (1 code, 1 movie) per transaction, since you can only put it one code at a time, I left there with 5 movies that night.

    Ok, well it depends on what code you use...some of them are for one time use others you can use many times...breakroom is a one time use, but what should work is if you use a differnt card...and you can cancel if it tells you it wont work so try that

    @Myron: It was "voted off the island", so to speak.

    Codes are removed when they are reported failing over a certain threshold. It did seem to be a valid code, but I couldn't even figure out where and under what circumstances it was valid.

    Apparently, most people who tried it got an "invalid code" message, or at least reported it that way.

    Hey, I was just wondering how the billing on red boxes work when you use a code. I assumed they didn't even charge you, but I guess not. I was trying to make another purchase with a Visa gift card I swiped with but I was short one dollar. It seems that even though I used a code and it said my total was $0.00 at the kiosk that I was charged for it.

    Do they charge your card temporarily until the movie is returned or did I get ripped off somehow? Thanks!

    I think it would be a good idea to put above the code entry box a disclaimer that goes something like "If you called redbox to report a non working dvd and they provided you with codes, those codes are one time use only, please do not enter them here." So that we can cut down on the number of useless codes that get entered.

    I suggest adding the number of responses to the working % displayed on the individual state pages. I also suggest adding the working % (and the number of responses) to the main codes page. Knowing that a code works 100% is not as useful if only 1 person has tried it.

    Also, what's with the color bands (green, yellow) on the state pages? I assume they mean something but I don't see a legend.

    I do not have my password and was sent an email that would give me a new one but the email just sent me to a link that was supposed to be where I could reset my password and it did not. Instead is just told me to leave my username or email and I would recieve an email to reset my password.My Question is what do I do to reset my password or recieve a new one?

    Michael, from the usage pattern on the new code SUMRDAYS608, it looks like it might be McDonalds only, there last code ended in 508, this one is 608, I used it at a McDonalds and will try it at a Dahl's location later today.

    I recently rented the assasination of Jesse James. I was not able to play it, I tried the cleaning techniques but nothing. Just wanted to let ya know so the movie can be pulled. should I contact redbox.com??

    I had a problem with Redbox charging for four movies that I returned. It happened in Hampton, Ia. After several hours on the phone they gave me back all but about $30 of the over $100 they charged me. They were not at all simpathetic to my problem. the Redbox was not working properly when i returned the movies on two consecutive days. Any one else experience a similar problem?

    My local Redbox recently became a 2-box. I'm thinking it might be a strategy to reduce available space for competition to set up in and improve kiosk traffic flow during peak retail and return hours.

    Blockbuster might complain, but I sure can't. Twice the new releases.

    give your real email address when you rent. that way you can keep track if the return when through.

    redboxes system and hardware arent perfect.

    wow i think that's a smart move for redbox esp if they do it everywhere. Using a new code yesterday i ran into my first jammed kiosk. It was in an endless loop of trying to eject a movie with errors on the screen for whoever it was that returned the last disc.

    McD's knew about it and said it'd been that way for a few days. If they had another kiosk a lot of people wouldn't have had to find the next location.. i bet they had different selections in each kiosk too or were they identical i wonder.

    yes you should contact redbox.com, as insideredbox doesn't own / is not responsible for the dvd's rented from redbox. i had a problem this week with twin daggers, big round circular mark on it, wouldn't play all the way through.. i'm trying to contact redbox about it so they can pull it but i haven't yet.

    So sorry but I rented two DVD's from a location in Arizona and I put in the incorrect email address. Will this cause a problem when I return them tomorrow night? Last time, they sent me an email back verifying that I returned the DVD's. I will not get a verification back this time, because I put in the wrong email address. Can you check it via the credit card we used?

    Redbox needs to also contract out to CVS pharmacy. In my neighborhood McDonals are far and few and some aren't equipt with the REDBOX. Come on now lets do better. I am at Tidwell / C E Kingway in Houston, Texas. Closes Mc Donalds is Homestead and Tidwell and there is a Walgreens across the street from them and so there is two Redbox neck to neck. Hello ! Lets spread them REdbox out.

    I am new to "RB Insider" and received a code for wednesday only, 8/13/08. It showed up in my in-box too late for me to be able to go to town and rent a dvd. Earlier, if possible, would be better... atleast before 3:00pm EST. I have also tried all the codes that were listed for my state, NY, and Non of them worked.
    I know that the Kiosk I use is on-line ready. I do not know how to get ..." All The Codes I Can Use"... like it says on the site.
    That would be nice as I try to view 3 or 4 DVD's per week. I am cutting back on that as the cost is adding up too fast for my budget. I don't know if you would care to comment back to me with any helpful info to get additional up-to-date codes?? Thanks
