I used the code today to rent Live Free or Die Hard. It worked, but the disc says it's FULL SCREEN. What is this crap? I'm gonna demand a refund.

(I'm joking, btw. But Full Screen is crap.)

I called about Live Free or Die Hard the day it was released. The customer support person said they made a mistake when they placed the order and requested full screen.

The widescreen disc has both the theatrical and 'unrated' versions- I'm guessing since they don't usually stock unrated discs they chose this one. This is one case where the unrated version is better since the studio decided to dumb it down to a PG-13 at the last minute. Glad both versions are on the regular DVD, the Blu-Ray only has the PG-13 version because supposedly the alternate footage wasn't good enough quality for hi-def.
This is the only "Die Hard" movie available on any disc format in Foolscreen! The special edition of the first "Die Hard" has a short clip showing why pan and scan ruins the movie, if you didn't already know.

Just another guy that found out about saving a few more bucker in this TOUGH economy!!! Can someone tell me if using two or more credit cards can yield more DVD's with the same code? Thanks you all!!!
  • daniel644 · 1 year ago
yes, there is no limits to the number of cards that can use the promo codes, you just can't use the code more then once per card, Right now I have 3 cards I use for renting.
  • daniel644 · 1 year ago
what do you mean did not work, did it not take the code, or did it take the code and you are seeing the 1 dollar hold that is placed on a card any time a rental is made that will be removed in the next 2 weeks.
