How is the free Redboxes supposed to work? First two free ones and
3 that we had to pay! It looks to us as if you are giving a free one
at your discretion just to get folks to your Redboxes? Connie

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Free is free. If you don't like Redbox don't use it. That leaves more for us that love Redbox to have on demand. I happen to use this every Monday and now Wednesday and I am very pleased that I can get something for free. I also rent on other days that aren't free and I pay gladly. $1.00 is alot cheaper than Blockbuster or any other rental place you find. So STOP complaining and get on with your life. Just remember "If it's free, it's for me". Joanie B. ps I love Redbox. It's the greatest thing to come along since they came up with dvd rentals.....

I fully agree with joanieb. We are lucky to get a free code every week or 2 now that is free wednesdays too.I do also rent on other days that aren’t free and I pay gladly as well. I do agree that $1.00 is a lot cheaper than Blockbuster or any other rental place you find.

I LOVE REDBOX...........and yes, how can you beat FREE? Well, I guess if they would bring it to my door would be best!...Just Kidding. Really though, my husband always wonders why I HAVE TO GO OUT every Monday and Wednesday. Plus I am always staying up later than usual (because Iam watching my movies buddy!) Anyway, my only complaint is............I wish the codes would come earlier in the day on my computer. They don't show up until later in the afternoon and I'd prefer getting them in the AM so I can stop on the way to and from work. I always have to go home and get it. Same with my cell tell....it doesn't come until late Other than that...keep up the good work. Iam looking for other codes to use for free also, but none of them work in my area. No, I am NOT JUST CHEAP, I just enjoy movies and always watch at least TWO a day. Thanks for the chance to input.....and yes, I DO LOVE REDBOX!!!!!!! THANKS!

Free is good! If you only rent one movie at a time and you put each on on a different card you can rent as many as you have different credit cards. Have three cards so I can rent up to three free movies with each code.

We have had a McD's Movie night ever since I discovered Redbox--then when I discovered this site--Eureka!! My daughter gets a happy meal, and my budget gets FREE McD movie night (okay I cant emphasize the free any better than all caps, so Ill just repeat: FREE FREE FREE!!) and they're new releases (YAY-FREE).

My family and I love the redbox, it's been the best for our entertainment needs and I just found about the free Monday and Wed. and I think that is great!! That's so generous considering it's only a dollar to rent a movie!!

I LOVE REDBOX! AND INSIDEREDBOX.COM even more! I'm broke, a full-time college student living on student loans - it's the only thing I can afford. Not even talking about the price of a gallon, everything else is going up, . . . . so the one thing that's free these days and entertaining is WELL worth it. I'm willing to do the 'code thing' with no hassle.

I love Redbox! And free movie rentals are awesome! And that Connie lady complaining about free?? Even if it was to just drum up business by giving 1 free, uh lady that's how the world works! You've never gotten a free sample of something at the grocery store? They do it so you will try it and like it! Then BUY IT! I mean geez.

This is a great site!! I have used Redbox for a long time!
Im a new user so I dont really know the ropes yet.
Just that codes come out on certain days.
But I also see that some codes work for a long time?
Is that correct? remember Im new!!
This may be a dumb question but you say it expires at midnight.
What time zone is that??
Or does that even apply?

It is sad to see someone complain about something free. Maybe Connie doesn't understand how this thing works? And I agree, $1 for a movie is well worth it!

I actually met a guy last night at redbox that said "I don't use codes, it's worth a dollar a night." That's $30 a month lost right there that he could be saving or paying for that outrageous gas price. That's one guy that will stay poor.

Someone I met at a RedBox told me anytime you get a free movie it is due back by 7:00 pm the next day instead of 9 pm. Does anyone know if this is true?
