  • An interesting idea indeed. My only concerns are:

    1. How does the process work?
    2. How does it verify the disk?
    3. How are the cases handled?
    4. Do you buy just the disk or the complete case and disk and inserts?

    I can understand purchasing from a machine but the trade-in part sounds like it might be stripped down (only accepts the disk).

    Still it is a very interesting idea and since I am in Georgia I will keep my eyes open.
  • It could work, for awhile anyway, until NCR (or the retailers) figures out they've given away prices for a new DVD trade-in for a crappy disk because the people simply lied about the condition of the disk.
